Nature's Scientific Data Publication
The publication describes a large EMG signal database including
- 43 subjects
- 3 days (over the span of 1 month)
- 16 classes of hand and finger gestures + rest (17 total)
- Wrist (2x6 channels) and forearm (2x8 channels)
Check out Multi-day dataset of forearm and wrist electromyogram for hand gesture recognition and biometrics here.
This can be used to build generalizable models for hand gesture recognition or two analyze individual differences (biometrics).
The database and usage codes are publicly available in the peer-reviewed Physionet Database: Gesture Recognition and Biometrics (GRABMYO).
